Liu Keer specializes in foreign direct investment, M&A, corporate affairs, outbound investment by Chinese enterprises and asset restructuring and divestiture.
Ms. Liu has provided legal services to many domestic and foreign clients in their investments (green field/M&A) and operations in China, covering industries ranging from traditional manufacturing, bulk commodities trading, retail, clean energy, chemicals, logistics, internet and more. She regularly advises clients on project structuring and strategic planning, due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, provision of legal advice on various related issues, assistance in closing as well as resolving post-closing issues.
Ms. Liu is familiar with legal issues related to foreign investment, including governmental examination and approval, competition law issues, foreign exchange administration, land use rights, technology licensing and employment. She acts as external counsel for a number of MNCs, providing them with daily corporate legal services.
Ms. Liu has provided legal services to both state and privately owned Chinese enterprises in their investment in Europe and other Asian countries.

Ms. Liu Keer joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2005.
Ms. Liu received her LL.B. and LL.M. from China Foreign Affairs University and was admitted as a Chinese lawyer in 2006.
