Ms. Jia, Diyan specializes in fund formation and private equity investment, domestic and overseas listing, M&A, restructuring and refinancing.
Ms. Jia has years of experiences in fund formation and fund investment services. In pace with the development of the private equity funds market, Ms. Jia possesses comprehensive legal service experiences in fields of industrial funds, equity investment funds, dollar funds, parallel funds, QFLP, mezzanine funds, real estate funds, and etc. Most of all, Ms. Jia is particularly experienced in the field of Buyout Fund expecially "listed company + PE" structure. She represented numbers of insurances companies, insurances management companies in funds and various financial products investment. Ms. Jia represented Bohai Fund, EVERBRIGHT Fund, Lenovo Dollar Fund, HONY Mezzanine Fund, Postal Savings Bank, CBC International, BOCGI, Cigna & CMB, New China Life Insurance, China Life Insurance, China Life Asset, Union Insurance Asset, CITIC Goldstone, and etc.
Ms. Jia also is well experienced in securities services from years of practice in matters of domestic and overseas IPO, red-chip return, M&A and restructuring of listed company, and refinancing and etc.. Ms. Jia's practice covers industrials including media, finance, communication, environmentally-friendly, high-tech, healthcare, manufacturing. She represented Beijing Blue Technology, Leyard, Blackcow Food, Durpalm, NewMargin Ventures, 21Vianet Group, CFLD, Shenzhen Huifuture, Masterwork Group, and etc.
Ms. Jia participated in the project of China Unicom's state-owned enterprises mixed-ownership reform. Ms. Jia currently serves as Permanent Legal Counsel for various media, banking and insurance management companies, including Titan Media, Bohai Bank, Sunshine Insurance Management and other companies as her major clients.
Moreover, Ms. Jia has assisted China Insurance Regulatory Commission and China Banking Regulatory Commission in completing several specific studies.
Work Experience
Before joining King & Wood Mallesons in 2011, Ms. Jia worked with Beijing Zhong Lun Law Firm.
Ms. Jia graduated from Northwest University of Political Science and Law with a Juris Master degree. She is qualified as a lawyer to practice in China and is seated in New York Bar.
Ms. Jia's working languages are Chinese and English.
