Jedda is a Senior Associate in the King & Wood Mallesons Employee Relations & Safety team, experienced in the areas of employment law and workplace relations. Jedda's practice spans a broad client base across various industries and sectors including banking and financial services, insurance, superannuation, energy and resources, property and construction, health, agriculture, technology, government and not-for-profit.
Jedda's experience includes:
- matters arising under the Fair Work Act 2009, industrial instruments and State and Territory employment-related legislation
- large-scale employment and industrial relations projects, including:
- historic and prospective payroll compliance and remediation programs, and related workforce and regulatory matters
- coordinating multi-jurisdictional, international reviews of employment obligations
- drafting employment agreements and workplace policies
- a broad range of litigation including in respect of statutory construction, discrimination and harassment, employee entitlements, dismissals and general protections
- complex, sensitive and confidential investigations into workplace conduct and whistleblower disclosures
- employment lifecycle matters including termination issues and executive separations
- employment and industrial relations issues and documentation associated with the sale, purchase and restructuring of businesses and transactional support.
