Ivy is a Counsel in the Real Estate practice of the Hong Kong office. She has considerable experience of different kinds of property related transactions, including sale and purchase of commercial, industrial and residential properties, leasing and licensing of all kinds of properties, all types of general conveyancing matters and advice ranging from large development projects to small village houses in the New Territories. She has extensive experience in sales of Hong Kong residential and commercial development projects under Consent Scheme and Non-Consent Scheme (including Deed of Mutual Covenant preparation and approval applications and pre-sale consent applications) and in advising developers on compliance with Residential Properties (First-hand Sales) Ordinance.
Ivy has represented domestic and international clients in sophisticated, large-scale real estate acquisition, disposition, joint venture, development, financing, and leasing transactions. She has considerable experience in advising on Land Grants, development agreements, building mortgages, development project related security documents, management agreements and property management matters.
Ivy also specialises in private clients practice including wealth, family, succession planning, wills, probate and estate administration. She has extensive experience in advising both private and corporate clients in a broad range of legal issues relating to wills, probate and inheritance of wealth, and providing comprehensive legal services to individuals to ensure smooth transfer of family wealth. Ivy’s expertise lies in will preparation, handling local and foreign grant applications, administration and distribution of estates with multi-jurisdictional elements, and advising on enduring powers of attorney, will, trusts and succession matters in Hong Kong.
