Gareth is a Special Counsel in the Sydney office of King & Wood Mallesons where he specialises in major infrastructure projects and transactions (including privatisations). Gareth has particular focus on mergers and acquisition transactions in the infrastructure sector, including traditional assets and core plus assets. In addition, Gareth has extensive experience in public private partnerships, project development, project financing and other transactions within the infrastructure sector.
Gareth has worked on many large-scale government privatisation transactions where he has played an integral role in project and stakeholder management and co-ordination and also legal tasks relating to the tender process and final documentation.
Gareth has a wealth of knowledge and experience in conducting large transactions. Gareth is known for his client focused approach, having acted for governments, the private sector and financiers.
