Gao Zhao specialises in capital markets and securities, M&A, and restructuring, focusing particularly on energy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and finance sectors.
Ms. Gao has rich experience advising on restructuring and reorganisation, onshore and offshore offering and listing of securities, major asset reorganisation of listed companies, acquisition of control, compliance of listed companies, and re-financing. Over the years, she has played a leading role in the ownership reform and IPOs of many top-notch companies. Her experience also covers merger, consolidation and organisation of mega state-owned companies, mixed ownership reform of state-owned companies, and M&As (industry buyers) across a variety of industries, such as energy, mining and natural resource, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, finance, information technology and equipment manufacturing.

She graduated from the Renmin University of China and the City University of Hong Kong with an LL.B and an LL.M degree respectively.
