Crystal specialises in M&A, private equity investments and financing, non-performing loans, joint ventures, private corporate notes and general corporate law advice.
Crystal has advised many public and private M&As, investments by private equity funds and corporations and private equity financing of start-ups and growth stage companies, acquisition and disposals of non-performing loans by asset management companies. Crystal also has extensive experience in the general corporate law matters of Hong Kong companies and advises PRC and Hong Kong companies on their daily operations including corporate governance and regulatory issues, including establishment joint ventures and issuance and/or subscription corporate bonds and repurchase of shares. Crystal is also assisting financially distressed companies in communicating and negotiating with their investors, shareholders and other stakeholders and responding to the regulator’s queries.
In Crystal's earlier year of practice, she also represents PRC companies seeking listing in HKEx and Singapore Stock Exchange and post-listing compliance and corporate governance matters for such listed companies. Her industry experience includes pharmaceuticals, agriculture, media, real estate, internet, transportation and manufacturing.
Crystal graduated from Renmin University of China with an LL.B. She then obtained an LL.M. from the University of Cambridge. Crystal is qualified in Hong Kong and the PRC.
