Mr. Kim Bohyoung is the head of Korea Practice Group of King & Wood Mallesons. Mr. Kim specializes in mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, capital market and entertainment.
Mr. Kim has nearly 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, and served as the leading counsel for a number of landmark cross-border M&A transactions between Korea and China. In the area of FDI, Mr. Kim has extensive experience in incorporation of foreign-invested enterprises. In the area of capital market, Mr. Kim has represented a number of Chinese and Korean companies in their initial public offering in KRX and HKSE respectively. In area of entertainment, Mr. Kim provides establishment of JV, IP licensing and IP investment.
Mr. Kim Bohyoung has been named as one of the Highly Recommended Lawyers in the field of TMT in China by Legal 500 in its 2015 Asia Pacific rankings.
Work experience
Mr. Kim joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2006. He is the head of King & Wood Mallesons' Korean practice.
Mr. Kim received a B.A. in international politics from Peking University, completed M.A course in the Graduate School of International Studies of Seoul National University, and received J.D. from the Tulane University Law School. Mr. Kim is member of New York Bar.
Mr. Kim's working languages are Chinese, English and Korean.
