It has now become a cross-strait demonstration zone for cooperation in emerging industries and modern service industries, a regional financial services and trade center. Xiamen Special Economic Zone is one of the six special economic zones in China, one of the cities approved by the State Council whose economic planning is under direct state supervision, and a city with provincial-level economic management authority. Xiamen has continued to promote the high-quality development of advanced manufacturing industries, deepen the national service industry comprehensive reform pilot program, and drive economic development. It is also pursuing the development of new technologies, industries, and businesses such as big data, cloud computing and 5G communications. The city has taken the lead in achieving breakthroughs in the development of digital, platform and smart economies.

As one of two CloudOffices in Fujian Province, Xiamen CloudOffice will utilize this dynamic seaport city as a platform to focus on the new positioning and requirements for the development of the special economic zone. The CloudOffice will actively cooperate with the local government to follow the pace of Xiamen's overall industrial development to build a first-class business environment in the fields such as customs and trade, maritime, high technology, manufacturing and agriculture.
