King & Wood Mallesons EUME Managing Partner Wang Rongkang has been named in The Lawyer Hot 100 2019.
The Lawyer's Hot 100 gathers together the standout lawyers in the UK over the past year, comprising the most daring, innovative and creative lawyers from in-house, private practice and the Bar.
Rongkang joined King & Wood Mallesons in 1998. He developed KWM Shenzhen office and had been acting as the Managing Partner of South China offices before being appointed as the Managing Partner of KWM EUME in 2017, where he currently leads and delivers on the firm's strategy of innovation, globalisation and long-term development for the firm's offices across Europe and the Middle East. In addition, Rongkang is a member of KWM International Management Committee and KWM China Management Committee. He is also Chair of KWM China Finance Committee. Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons, Rongkang worked as a Deputy Director at the European and American Division, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Justice.
Rongkang's inclusion in 'The Lawyer Hot 100 2019: Leader' is for demonstrating leadership skills and aspiring to be the "Asian giant" in the City.
