King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised Hong Kong stock exchange listed Suzhou Basecare Medical Corporation Limited (Suzhou Basecare Medical) on its acquisition of BMX Holdco (Biomedx), a Singapore based business specialising in IVF incubator and culture media.
The deal assists in forming a closed-loop industrial chain of independent innovative products in the field of assisted reproduction. It also provides extensive potential to grow Suzhou Basecare Medical’s strong commercial network and customer base in China through Biomedx’s global network.
The KWM team advising on the deal stretches across the Asia Pacific region. The team was led by Partners Nicholas Molan and Anthony Boogert, and supported by Solicitor, Mary Li, Partner, Scott Bouvier and Senior Associate, Melissa Miller.
