KWM HK speaks at Macao Legal and Judicial Training Centre's “Hong Kong Debt Capital Markets Know-How” webinar

King & Wood Mallesons Hong Kong is delighted to speak at the “Hong Kong Debt Capital Markets Know-How” webinar on 20 November, as part of “Deepening Debt Capital Markets and Legal Know-How” series. Hosted by the Legal and Judicial Training Centre of the Government of the Macao SAR (澳门特别行政区政府法律及司法培训中心) and the Monetary Authority of Macao (澳门金融管理局), the training series aim to deepen Macao legal practitioners’ understanding of the bond and financial markets, as well as the relevant laws to align with China’s strategy to strengthen Macao SAR’s positioning in the financial markets.

With more than 180 attendees across the legal and financing sectors, Counsel Cynthia Tan, Counsel, and Malisa Leung, Senior Associate, of the KWM Hong Kong DCM team provided an overview of the bond markets and discussed the procedures in debt issuance, legal and transactional risks and documentation considerations, as well as relevant case studies.
