KWM wins Best Hong Kong Law Firm at FinanceAsia Country Awards 2019

On June 2019, King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) received one of the most prestigious awards “Best Law Firm in Hong Kong” at the FinanceAsia Country Awards 2019 in Hong Kong. This award is an indication of the market’s recognition of the firm’s strong Hong Kong and pan-Asian footprint across debt, equity and M&A.

Hosted by FinanceAsia, the FinanceAsia Country awards is one of the most influential awards in the financial institutions industry. This series of awards identify the most significant and high-profile transactions and recognise the best law firms, banks and brokers in Asia’s key markets.

According to FinanceAsia, the Best Law Firm in Hong Kong award is a new recognition designed to recognise the Hong Kong-based lawyers whose work form the bedrock for a transaction. It is also designed to highlight the emergence of Asian law firms, which have gained prominence alongside the ever-present international ones.
