The law firm King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised the pan European infrastructure investment firm Asterion Industrial Partners on the structuring and first closing of their inaugural fund, Asterion Industrial Infra Fund I, with investment commitments of 519 million euros. The fund, which has a target size of 850 million euros, expects to hold a final close by the summer and will focus on the European mid-market in infrastructure, including sectors such as Telecoms; Energy & Utilities; and Mobility.
So far, the first investors in the Fund include, sovereign wealth funds, pension funds and asset managers from Europe, North America and the Middle East.
The team at KWM that have advised Asterion on this matter has been led by Funds Partners´ Isabel Rodríguez and Ildefonso Alier. Other lawyers that have been a part of this project include Tax Partner Alberto Ruano, Senior Associate Pablo Tejerizo and Associates María de Orueta and María Mata.
