King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised Silver Investment Partners (SIP) on the acquisition of it relations GmbH (it relations). SIP invested via its portfolio company ALVARA Holding GmbH (ALVARA Holding).
With the integration of it relations, the group of companies ALVARA | Digital Solutions (a brand of ALVARA Holding) continues to grow with the addition of an IT specialist who, among other things, stands for the development of innovative and intuitively operated cash register systems.
it relations has been carrying out innovative IT projects for 25 years. The intelligent branch checkout systems used by large bakery chain stores, restaurants, bars and retailers can be customized and, in addition to central data maintenance and POS synchronisation, are also GDPD/GOBD-compliant and fiscally secure. The Coffeeboard system enables current discounts, promotions or image advertising to be effectively displayed as images or videos on separate monitors in the checkout area, thus allowing advertising to be planned and controlled centrally.
ALVARA | Digital Solutions is positioned as a leading European provider of track & trace software solutions for the cash cycle and logistics - from cash handling, monitoring, process automation to clearing. The acquisition of it relations will continue the growth of the group of companies. With the ALVARA | Digital Solutions’ offering, customers cover all processes from back office to checkout with one provider. Following the renewed addition to the group, the focus is now on integrating the systems of it relations into the software architecture of ALVARA | Digital Solutions as well as strengthening the market position of it relations in the DACH region. In addition, new solutions for self-checkouts and mobile checkouts as well as checkout cloud applications are being developed.
KWM has already advised SIP on several acquisitions in connection with the sustainable growth strategy of the ALVARA Group - most recently on the acquisition of it kompetenz.
