King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has advised LEA Partners GmbH on its investment in HCM software provider LANDWEHR Group.
LEA Partners GmbH (LEA Partners) has acquired a majority stake in Landwehr Computer und Software GmbH (LANDWEHR), a renowned provider of special branch software for personnel service companies, event service providers and building service providers, as well as agricultural and trading companies. As part of a succession plan, technology investor LEA Partners acquired shares via its LEA Mittelstandspartner fund, together with LANDWEHR’s longstanding management team. The management team will take over the management from the founding family, which will remain invested in LANDWEHR.
LANDWEHR, headquartered in Wietmarschen-Lohne in western Lower Saxony, has been active since 1994. Among other products, LANDWEHR develops and distributes highly specialised Human Capital Management (HCM) software products, in particular for personnel service providers and building service providers. With more than 2,000 customers for HCM software products LANDWEHR is deemed to be the market leader in Germany. Over the last 25 years LANDWEHR has grown steadily and currently employs 260 people.
