As part of a succession plan, INVISION AG (INVISION) has acquired a majority stake in ABC Design GmbH (ABC Design), the leading brand for strollers and accessories in Germany.
ABC Design, based in Albbruck (Germany), has around 40 employees and markets combi strollers, sports strollers, car seats, high chairs and accessories. Founded in 1989, the family business has established a market leadership in Germany, thanks to offering great value for money.
INVISION, based in Zug (Switzerland), was founded in 1997 and has become one of the leading investment companies for succession situations and growth financing in Europe. Over this period, INVISION has invested over EUR 750 million in equity capital in more than 50 companies, achieving sustainable value creation.
Members of the Fischer family (founders) will remain invested in ABC Design and will continue to lead the company operationally. With the new partner INVISION the main priorities for the future are further strengthening the market leadership in Germany and facilitate the expansion into promising markets abroad with uncompromising focus on quality and price.
