UK Government announces location of London UPC court

The UK Government has announced the location of the London section of the Central Division (which will hear Central Division cases relating to pharmaceuticals) and of the UK Local Division. The location is Aldgate Tower, in an area on the edge of the City which is being marketed as a new commercial destination, benefiting from its proximity to finance and Tech hubs.

The signing of the lease is a further stage in the process of the UK’s readiness for the UPC, with the UPC Agreement expected to be ratified in 2016.
