Mr. Zhou Jie specializes in banking, finance and investment.

Mr. Zhou has extensive experience in traditional and innovative financing businesses, including asset finance and leasing, real estate investment and financing, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged finance, structured finance and the establishment and merger of financial institutions. Mr. Zhou has been actively acting for domestic and foreign investment banks, commercial banks, leasing companies, asset managers, fund managers and multinational corporations providing legal services for the foreign clients’ investment transactions and operations in China, as well as the domestic clients’ investment and financing activities in overseas; his works cover legal due diligence, feasibility study, project structuring, project execution, documentation and negotiation.

In 2016, Mr. Zhou has been named as one of the highly recommended lawyers in the field of banking & finance in China by Legal 500 in its 2016 Asia Pacific rankings.

Work experience

Mr. Zhou re-joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2012. Prior to that, he has worked for King & Wood Mallesons, and a prestigious international bank in Beijing.

Mr. Zhou received his B.A and LL.M. degrees from China Foreign Affairs University.

Mr. Zhou’s working languages are Chinese and English.
