Ms. Yang Xiaolei specializes in corporate matters, securities, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate reconstructing.

In over 30 years of legal practice, Ms. Yang Xiaolei has participated in dozens of domestic and foreign IPOs representing large and medium-sized companies. Her experience includes IPOs on the Hong Kong, NYSE, Nasdaq and Chinese domestic stock exchanges for clients in the energy, finance, insurance, telecommunications, media, internet service provision, real estate, and manufacturing industries among others. Ms. Yang has extensive experience in domestic M&A transactions for large corporations. Many of her projects have been recognized by Asian and international awards. Ms. Yang has also participated in a number of foreign investment projects in China.

Work Experience

Ms. Yang Xiaolei joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2001. Prior to this, she worked at C&C Law Office, Davis Polk & Wardwell, and Jingtian & Gongcheng Law Firm.

In 2016, Ms. Yang has been ranked as a “Leading Individual” by Chambers Asia Pacific Guide. In 2001, she was elected as one of the 500 Leading Lawyers in the Asia Pacific Area by Asia Law & Practice. For the past four years, Global Business and Asia-Pacific Legal 500 have recognized Ms. Yang as a Leading International Lawyer.

Ms. Yang received her LL.B. and LL.M. from Peking University Law School and was admitted as a Chinese lawyer in 1996. Ms. Yang is proficient in Chinese and English.
