Molly Su specializes in banking and finance.
Ms. Su’s mainly practice areas include project finance, acquisition finance, syndicated loans, investment in and incorporation of financial institutions, financial derivatives trading platforms and general banking, etc.
Ms. Su represented oversea and domestic syndicates, banks, joint ventures and project companies in many outbound project finances, involved in financings in a wide range of sectors including hydropower, wind farm, nuclear power, biomass, oil, mines, chemicals and manufacturing. Ms. Su is also experienced in export credit and outbound acquisition finance. She has provided legal services for various Chinese policy banks, commercial banks and companies in such projects and has won trust and acclaim from her clients. She has extensive experience in advising clients on legal due diligence, transaction structuring, and the preparation and negotiation of transaction documents, issuing legal opinions. Ms. Su has acted for clients in transactions across mainland China, Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia, Europe, North and South America.
In addition, Ms. Su is also providing legal services for various commodities and financial derivatives exchanges, including assisting in their cross-border cooperation projects with oversea exchanges, drafting trading rules and contracts, providing regulatory advice, etc.
Work Experience
Ms. Su joined King & Wood Mallesons Beijing Office in 2006, and transferred to Shanghai Office in 2013.
Ms. Su graduated with LLB from University of International Business and Economic, LLM from Sheffield University and obtained CPE from Sussex University.
Ms. Su is qualified to practice law in China.
Ms. Su’s working languages are Chinese and English.
