Ms. Daisy Duan specializes in PRC tax and business advisory services.

Daisy has more than 15 years’ experience in the tax field, mainly providing tax legal services for MNCs, domestic and foreign enterprises. Specifically, her service scope includes tax consultation and planning for non-resident enterprises, tax planning for M&A and restructuring projects, tax due diligence etc. Daisy has solid experience in assisting the enterprises in coping with tax inspection, transfer pricing and tax anti-avoidance investigation and has successfully represented clients to accomplish a number of highly challenging tax dispute cases.

Ms. Daisy Duan was once ranked as “Associate to Watch Tax lawyer” in China for three consecutive years by Chambers Asia Pacific. Daisy has been named as one of the “highly recommended lawyers” in the field of tax in China by Legal 500 from 2016 to 2018 and was awarded as “Noted Practitioners” in the tax field by Chamber Asia Pacific in 2018, reflecting her outstanding performance in tax area.

Work experience

Prior to joining King & Wood in 2009, Daisy worked as a Senior Consultant for a Big 4 Accounting Firm from 2003 to 2008, then worked as a consultant for the Beijing Representative Office of a well-known German Law Firm.

Daisy graduated from Nankai University in 2000 where she majored in English for Foreign Trade. In 2003, she acquired a Master Degree in Law from Nankai University. Daisy is a PRC Certified Tax Agent and is licensed to practice law in the PRC.

Daisy’s working languages are English and Mandarin.
