Mr. Kim Bohyoung specializes in real estate, foreign direct investment and capital market.
Mr. Kim provides a wide range of corporate counsel services to several leading Korean corporations including, Samsung Electronics, Samsung Life Insurance, SK Telecom, SK China, Korean Airline, Ssangyong, Mirae Asset, Daewoo Securities, Woori Bank, Hana Bank and KB Bank etc. Mr. Kim currently acts as the outside counsel for Samsung Group, SK Group, STX Group, D’strict Holdings, Hassem and SM Entertainment.
In the area of real estates, Mr. Kim has advised wide range of multinational companies and institutional investors, such as Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Standard Chartered Bank, Tesco Property Ltd., Tishman Speyer and Tshuva Group etc., in their real estates development, financing and M&A projects.
In the area of FDI, Mr. Kim has extensive experience in incorporation of foreign-invested enterprises, M&A and provision of general advice for the multinational companies, such as Citi Group, Airtech and Inchcape.
In the area of capital market, Mr. Kim has represented a number of Chinese and Korean companies in their initial public offering in KRX and HKSE respectively.
In 2015, Mr. Kim Bohyoung has been named as one of the Highly Recommended Lawyers in the field of TMT in China by Legal 500 in its 2016 Asia Pacific rankings.

Mr. Kim joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2006. He is the head of King & Wood Mallesons' Korean practice.
Mr. Kim received a B.A. in international politics from Peking University, completed M.A course in the Graduate School of International Studies of Seoul National University, and received J.D. from the Tulane University Law School. Mr. Kim is member of New York Bar.
Mr. Kim’s working languages are Chinese, English and Korean.
