Jessica officially joined King & Wood Mallesons on 1st June, 2019.

With the economic globalization and the “Belt and Road” initiative propelling the growth of the marketplace, international arbitration is the dispute resolution mechanism of choice for resolving economic and trade investment disputes, eliminating investment and trade barriers and promoting the development of the international law. Jessica is a highly regarded lawyer in the international arbitration and dispute resolution space with extensive experience handling major and complex cross-border cases. She has a deep understanding in the interpretation of the legal system, as well as the relevant practical experience. She represents clients in China inbound and outbound international arbitrations (including ICC, LCIA, CIETAC, HKIAC, SIAC, SCC, AAA/ICDR, BAC and UNCITRAL) and litigation matters in both English and Chinese, in particular representing Chinese State Owned Enterprises in their overseas disputes proceedings and international clients in their China-related arbitrations.

Jessica regularly sits as an arbitrator in commercial arbitration cases, with substantial experience advising on cases before major international arbitration institutions. She is listed as an arbitrator on the following panels, including ICDR, CIETAC, SIAC, HKIAC, AIAC, KCRB, CEAC (Chinese European Arbitration Center, Germany), CRCICA, JCAA, THAC, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Wuhan Arbitration Commission and Xiamen Arbitration Commission. She is a member of the International Advisory Committee of the AAA/ICDR, the CEAC Advisory Board, Vice President of the UIA Litigation Committee and Chair of NYSBA (New York State Bar Association) International Section (China Chapter). Jessica’s demonstrated track record will extend the firm’s capability in representing PRC and multinational clients on their disputes into China and out from China. Her PRC background and international experience will enable her to effectively leverage the firm’s presence in the Greater Bay Area and our global network to ensure consistent service delivery of the first-class quality.

Jessica Fei said, “I am delighted to join KWM. Over the years we have seen increasing growth and reform for both arbitration and dispute resolution. As an active member in this area, I am following closely with this trend and KWM is one of the few in this field that is in line with my vision. I am delighted to be a member of this growing firm and I look forward to working with such a distinguished body of eminent industry leaders within the China and global network to offer a wide range of dispute resolution capabilities to help our clients achieve their business needs. ”
