Release of King & Wood Mallesons Social Responsibility Report 2019

As is emphasized in the report to the 19th CPC National Congress, it is necessary to promote credibility building, institutionalize volunteer services, and heighten people’s sense of social responsibility, awareness of rules, and sense of dedication. This gives directions for encouraging enterprises to take on social responsibilities and comprehensively enhance their core competitiveness. Since its founding in 1993, King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has been dedicated to fulfilling social responsibility, and actively responding to the call of the CPC Central Committee. During the implementation of major national strategies including the Belt & Road Initiative, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region, the integrated regional development of Yangtze River Delta and the new round of revitalization of the northeast China, KWM has been taking the initiative in an effort to meet the demand of the era, and also realize KWM’s social value.

The King & Wood Mallesons Social Responsibility Report 2019 is a systematic description of how KWM earnestly fulfills its social responsibilities since 2016 in areas such as serving major national strategies, promoting the rule of law and economic development, and advancing the industry’s development. The Report introduces the achievements gained by KWM regarding Party building, pro bono services, employee development and care, and energy conservation and environmental protection, highlighting the social responsibilities of KWM as a Chinese law firm.

We hope that this Report will help strengthen the communication and exchanges of KWM with all sectors of the society, and we will go further in fulfilling our social responsibilities.
