Louis Chiam

Louis Chiam is a partner in the Melbourne office of King & Wood Mallesons, where he specialises in infrastructure, energy and resources, climate change and major projects.

Louis has experience in energy and infrastructure projects, energy markets and restructuring, acquisitions and divestments, electricity and gas supply contracts, carbon finance, carbon advisory and utility regulation.

Louis acts for a range of Australian and international corporations and government entities.  

He has been named Best Lawyers' 2013 Melbourne Climate Change "Lawyer of the Year" and has been nominated by Best Lawyers in Australia 2016 in the areas of Climate Change, Energy, Government, M&A, Natural Resources, Oil & Gas and Regulatory.
