Celebrating $10m in Workplace Giving!

In October 2015, KWM celebrated A$10 million donated to the Workplace Giving program with a number of ‘All Ribbons All Causes’ themed events. Since the program commenced, KWM have supported over 40 charity partners with all staff donations matched by the firm.

The $10 million celebrations were also used to launch a new edition to our Workplace Giving program, the KWM crowdfunding tool. The crowdfunding tool enables KWM partners and staff to donate on an ad hoc basis to specific projects proposed by our Australia-wide charity partners.

Workplace Giving is also known as pre-tax payroll giving. This form of giving raises funds in a low cost, high impact way contributing much needed resources to charities.

In the delivery of its Workplace Giving program, KWM has a long and proud association with the Australian Charities Fund (ACF). Since 2002 ACF has been a driver and thought leader of workplace giving in Australia.

KWM is a founding member of ACF’s Executive Leadership Group (ELG). ELG members commit to building their own best practice programs and using their networks to champion workplace giving as a high impact, sustainable community investment strategy within the business community.
