King & Wood Mallesons gains Competition Law partner Tilman Siebert – Expansion continues in Frankfurt

Tilman Siebert joins King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) as a partner, adding to the firm's service offering his German and EU competition law practice. He will closely work with the established KWM transaction team as well as with the international offices, joining King & Wood Mallesons award winning competition teams in, inter alia, Australia and China. His expertise perfectly in particular complements the transaction practice in Frankfurt, both in the traditional M&A business, including transactions by Asian investors, as well as in the field of private equity. 

Tilman Siebert has more than 20 years of experience in advising on German and European antitrust and competition laws. He is representing clients in merger control proceedings and investigations before the German Federal Cartel Office (Bundeskartellamt) and the European Commission. In addition, he is advising on competition litigation matters, in particular on cartel damages. He regularly advises on general competition law issues, including compliance issues. Tilman Siebert also specializes in advising in relation to German Foreign Investment Regulation and represents clients in proceedings before the German Ministry of Economics.
