Mr. Wu Yihua specializes in chemicals-related patent services.
He has processed thousands of patent applications, including a large number of German-language applications. He regularly handles patent review and invalidation cases, providing patent validity analyses, patent infringement analyses and services pertaining to administrative resolution of patent infringements. He has served numerous multinationals across multiple chemical sectors such as organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, TCM, pharmaceuticals, chemical engineering, fine chemicals, polymers and cosmetics. He has accumulated extensive experience in all aspects of Chinese, European and US patent law.
Work experience
Mr. Wu joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2010, prior to which he was a patent agent at the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Patent & Trademark Law Office before joining a Beijing-based IP firm as a partner. He graduated from the Chemistry Department of Tongji University with a B.Sc. and was admitted as a Patent Agent in the PRC in 1996 and as a lawyer in 2000.
Mr. Wu's working languages are Chinese, English and German.
