Mr. Ren Zhanjiang specializes in dispute resolution, international investment and financing, real estate development and merger and acquisition, etc.
Mr. Ren has over 20 years of experience in dispute resolution and international investment and financing. He once led his team and provided professional litigation and non-litigation legal services to several real estate companies and major energy groups, covering industries of machine manufacturing, construction projects, energy, electricity, medicine, finance, high technology, etc.
As one of the earliest lawyers engaged in real estate legal services, Mr. Ren has participated in dozens of cases regarding real estate merger and acquisition and has dealt with many contract disputes of real estate transfer and construction projects, which helps him accumulate unique perspective and rich experience in solving major projects and difficult cases. These cases include: Qingdao Maidao project transfer and Beijing Renjizhiye merger and acquisition, etc. of Luneng Group, several litigation and non-litigation projects of Jinan Wanke, the equity transfer contract dispute between Qingdao Wanke and a company, the construction contract dispute of a photovoltaic power station between a Qingdao Co., Ltd and a company in Guan County, etc.
Mr. Ren also has extensive experience in international arbitration and litigation, international investment and financing. The representative projects include: representing a group in Shandong dealing with an independent guarantee fraud dispute with a foreign institution, representing Lisheng Co., Ltd dealing with a dispute with a company in Zibo over foreign guarantee contract, etc.
Mr. Ren has been awarded "Top 10 Outstanding Young Lawyers in Quancheng", "Top 10 Outstanding Young Lawyers in Shandong province", "Outstanding Young Talents in Shandong province". He is now an arbitrator in China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and Jinan Arbitration Commission and selected as legal expert advisory library in Shandong Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Government, Provincial Political Consultative Conference.
Work experience
Mr. Ren joined King and Wood in 2019. Prior to that, he worked in two law firms in Shandong successively and served as a senior partner.
Mr. Ren graduated from Northwest University of Political Science and Law and Shandong University and obtained Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Literature and LL.M respectively. Later he obtained MBA in Missouri State University.
Mr. Ren's working languages are Chinese and English.
