Ms. Luan specializes in general banking, auto financing, property financing, acquisition financing, structured financing, financial regulation and compliance and debt restructuring.
Ms. Luan has extensive experience in banking and finance area and provides legal advices to various domestic and international banks, other financial institutions, auto makers, property developers and multinational companies in a variety of matters, including syndicated loans, auto finance, property finance, acquisition finance, pre-IPO finance, privatization finance and other cross-border finance transactions. She has also advised a number of auto finance companies on their market entry, set-up, business modeling and daily operation. Ms. Luan also has strong expertise in non-performing loan debt restructuring and financial regulation and compliance.
Ms. Luan has advised Credit Suisse International as the offshore lender on its refinancing to both New City Wai Gao Qiao Holding Limited and its subsidiary incorporated in PRC in connection with an acquisition of 23 warehouse units in Wai Gao Qiao Free Zone of Shanghai, PRC. This deal has been awarded as the Deal of the Year 2008 Award by China Law & Practice.
Ms. Luan has advised Pingan Bank and SPDB on their financing to WuXi PharmaTech's privatization deal. This deal has been recognized as the Deals of the Year 2015 Award by China Business Law Journal.
Work Experience
Ms. Luan joined King & Wood in 2007. Prior to this, Ms. Luan worked at a local and a Japanese firm.
Ms. Luan received her LLB and LLM from Law School of Nanjing University.
Ms. Luan's working languages are Chinese and English.
