Mr. Liu's practice focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, foreign investments, offshore securities offerings and corporate matters, and has extensive experience in providing comprehensive legal services for cross-border transactions.
Mr. Liu has extensive experience in cross-border transactions and investment projects. He has represented a number of listed and non-listed companies and private firms in their outbound investments in China Hong Kong SAR, Taiwan, the United States, Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa and other regions and countries. His experience covers a wide range of industries including environmental protection, new energy, resources, pharmaceuticals, securities, telecom, real estate, and manufacturing, etc. He assists clients in transaction/financing structure design, drafting and review of transactional documentation, due diligence, negotiations, coordination with government authorities and foreign legal counsel.
Mr. Liu is active in representing multinational companies, medium-to-large domestic companies and start-up companies in their greenfield investment, M&A, restructuring, due diligence, as well as daily matters. He has also advised a number of issuers and underwriters in overseas listings. Mr. Liu also has hosted a number of major asset restructuring or non-public offering projects for domestic listed companies, as well as overseas securities offerings.
Mr. Liu was honored as an Outstanding Lawyer of Sichuan Province in 2013.
Mr. Liu was honored as the leading talent of Chengdu lawyers in foreign-related legal services in 2016.
Mr. Liu was selected in the National Thousand Foreign-related Lawyers Pool by the Ministry of Justice of China in 2018.
Mr. Liu was horned as IFLR1000 Leading Lawyer in Sichuan region in 2020.
