Since the introduction of the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a series of supporting policies and initiatives have been rolled out to boost the integrated development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), one of the most open and economically dynamic regions in China nowadays.

In an active response to the national strategy in the GBA, KWM International Center builds on the firm's offices in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and in Hainan province to connect and unleash KWM's global resources, actively participate in the Belt and Road projects, and seize the opportunities presented by the development of the GBA and the Hainan Free Trade Port, striving to build an important growth pole for KWM's future development.

Since 2018, KWM and KWM Institute have jointly released the series of KWM INSIGHTS: Law and Practice in the Greater Bay Area. This KWM INSIGHTS: Law and Practice in the Greater Bay Area III is co-authored by partners from the above offices based on the local market environment and legal developments as well as their extensive experience in the region. This publication provides in-depth insights on the interpretation on the legal policies in financial markets, funds, dispute resolution, initial public offerings, corporate compliance and many other areas of the regional markets. It is hoped that the publication will help our clients and partners to grasp business opportunities in the GBA and even Asia.
