On 20 September 2018, King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) received four prestigious recognitions at the asialaw and Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific Dispute Resolution awards ceremony in Hong Kong.
The KWM Dispute Resolution and Litigation group was acknowledged for the breadth and depth of its China practice and was awarded "National Law Firm of the Year China". The firm's leading disputes lawyers in Beijing and Hong Kong and the firm's work on high-profile and complex disputes were also awarded with the following:
- Disputes Star of the Year: China (Huang Tao)
- Disputes Star of the Year: HK (Paul Starr)
- Matter of the year: Novel criminal trial in Hong Kong (Barbara Chiu)
KWM Partners Mr. Paul Starr, Mrs. Barbara Chiu from the Hong Kong office and Mr. Justin Lin from the Shenzhen office attended the ceremony.
