On 6 February 2018, according to the 2018 rankings of leading trademark firms worldwide by Managing Intellectual Property (MIP), King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) was consecutively recognized as a Tier 1 firm in both trademark prosecution and trademark contentious in China for its outstanding performance. Another leading IP magazine Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) recently launched its 2018 edition of World Trademark Review (WTR) 1000 rankings, and KWM was ranked in the Gold Band for both "enforcement and litigation" and "prosecution and strategy" categories.
