Anna Vella specialises in the areas of town planning, approvals and environmental law associated with the provision of development, in frastructure delivery and major projects. Over her 18+ years of practice, Anna has represented a number of high profile, blue chip, public and government clients in the delivery of infrastructure and major projects.

Her familiarity with development and planning issues, State and Commonwealth environmental and other licencing and approval requirements is particularly beneficial in advising clients as part of any due diligence process and to enable project delivery. Anna has had the benefit of working in both private practice and as a principal legal officer for the State of Queensland and has a deep understanding of the various commercial, policy issues and process requirements involved in the delivery of major projects and infrastructure in Queensland.

In addition to her practical experience, Anna has been a sessional lecturer in town planning law in both the Law and Built Environment Faculties at the Queensland University of Technology and for the last 13 years, has been a co-author of the leading industry publication in relation to planning and development Queensland, as published by Thomson Reuters. Anna is also actively involved in numerous industry related organisations including the Law Council of Australia's Australian Environment and Planning Law Group, where she is the sole Queensland representative.
