Zhu Xuefeng specialises in dispute resolution. He is especially experienced in the criminal defence of economic crimes, criminal compliance, and cases involving both civil and criminal issues.

With over 18 years of experience, he has handled hundreds of cases involving criminal defence of economic crimes, understanding the judicial proceedings and key issues of various cases. He has successfully defended many employees of well-known companies against securities and futures related criminal allegations. He advises on new criminal offences related to infringement of trade secrets, financial fraud and illegal fund-raising, duty crimes, tax-related crimes, and computer crimes. He also provides legal services on specific criminal matters to Fortune 500 companies.

In some criminal cases, Mr. Zhu's defence leads to an acquittal, non-prosecution, or dismissal or non-filing of the case. In criminal compliance matters, he develops appropriate strategies based on the applicable laws and the identified facts, helping clients avoid or mitigate criminal risks. In addition, he responds on behalf of clients in criminal compliance investigations and civil/criminal proceedings, helping combat crimes or recover losses.

He was honoured as one of the "Client Choice Top 20 Lawyers in China" in 2012 by ALB. He also received recognitions such as the Advanced Individual in Judicial Administration and the Advanced Individual in Social Management in Shanghai.

Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons in 2018, he was the director of a well-known local law firm in Shanghai.
