Mr. Yang's practice area mainly covers foreign direct investment in China, venture capital, mergers & acquisitions, and PRC outbound investment.
Mr. Yang has advised various leading multinational companies and investment funds in their investments and acquisitions in China, also advised various reputable PRC companies in their outbound investments in Europe and the US. The investment transactions in which Mr. Yang has participated have involved clients in various industries including telecommunications, solar, environmental protection, machinery, retail, commodities trading, food, clothing and infrastructure facilities. Mr. Yang also provides ongoing legal and compliance advice to the China operations of certain multinational companies.
Work Experience
Mr. Yang joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2006. Before joining King & Wood Mallesons, he worked for a reputable domestic law firm in Shanghai, which specializes in the foreign direct investment and securities.
Mr. Yang graduated from Zhejiang University with a LL.B in 1999 and has been practicing law since 2000.
Mr. Yang is fluent in Mandarin and English.
