Xu Ying specializes in private equity fund/venture capital transactions, joint ventures, M&A (particularly cross-border M&A), corporate governance, and negotiation of inter-shareholder disputes.
Ms. Xu has represented foreign and domestic funds and other institutions in connection with their investment into start-up companies and also represented high-growth companies, through various stages of development, on their financing, restructuring, investors' relation, incentive plans and operation compliance.
Ms. Xu has advised many strategic and financial investors on their joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, particularly FDI (foreign investment into China) and ODI (Chinese outbound investment) transactions. Ms. Xu has assisted Chinese investors in their expansion into the markets of North America, Europe, Southeast Asia and Japan.
Work experience
Ms. Xu joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2015. Before joining KWM, she was She worked in Shanghai office of leading law firms.
Ms. Xu received her B.A. and M.A. degrees both from Peking University Law School. She later obtained her M.A. degrees in Harvard Law School .
Ms. Xu 's working languages are Chinese and English.
