Will McCosker is a partner in King & Wood Mallesons’ International Funds team. Will specialises in international funds, including real estate funds, infrastructure funds, PE funds, debt funds, VC funds, hedge funds, funds-of-funds, funds-of-one, clubs and consortium structures. Will also regularly advises on joint ventures, cross-border M&A transactions, co-investment structures, platforms, secondaries transactions and fund restructurings as well as governance and regulatory aspects relating to funds.
Will’s practice has an international focus. He spent over 3 years as a partner in KWM’s Shanghai office, and over 5 years as a partner in KWM’s Singapore office. He has also practised law in London and the Cayman Islands.
Will’s practice covers both GP and LP mandates. He has advised on a number of high profile global and regional fund launches. He also regularly advises sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, superannuation funds and insurance companies on their fund investments, co-investments, platform investments, secondaries transactions and fund restructures.
Will advises on all aspects of the Australian financial services regulatory regime and regulatory considerations for regional and global capital raisings.
