Will Heath is a corporate lawyer focusing on M&A, capital raisings and corporate advisory work.
He regularly advises global organisations and leading ASX-listed companies on complex transactions including public and private M&A, demergers and joint ventures.
Will works with clients in a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, resources, technology and financial services. He has substantial cross-border M&A experience and lived and worked in Tokyo for four years.
Will also advises companies and their Boards on governance issues including directors' duties, shareholder activism and continuous disclosure. He teaches listed company M&A and governance courses through the Melbourne and Monash Law Schools. Will holds two postgraduate law degrees from the University of Oxford, where he was a Menzies Memorial Scholar in Law. In 2023, Best Lawyers awarded Will "Lawyer of the Year" in Mergers & Acquisitions, Melbourne.
