Tiffany is a skilled debt capital markets specialist with extensive experience acting as both issuer and dealer counsel. Her legal expertise spans a diverse array of clients, including financial institutions (domestic and foreign), supranational, sovereign and agency issuers, as well as corporate clients.

With a deep understanding of various types of debt securities, Tiffany has acted on transactions involving senior notes, subordinated notes, transferable certificates of deposit, euro-commercial paper, euro-certificates of deposit, tender offers and ASX listing applications. She has extensive experience as the lead solicitor on the establishment and update of debt issuance programmes in the Australian Medium Term Note (AMTN) market, frequently acting on AMTN trades. Tiffany has also advised clients as Australian counsel on Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) and Global Medium Term Note (GMTN) debt issuance programmes and drawdowns. Her experience includes working on debt capital markets transactions that are cleared through Austraclear, the Central Moneymarkets Unit and Euroclear/Clearstream.

Tiffany also frequently assists clients with bringing green, social and sustainable bonds to market.

Known for her attention to detail and ability to navigate complex transactions, Tiffany is well-regarded in the Australian market.

Her recent experience includes:

  • acting for both domestic and international financial institutions such as Bank of China, China Everbright Bank, Crédit Agricole S.A., Teachers Mutual Bank and HSBC in connection with their A$ debt issuance programmes;
  • acting for supranational, sovereign and agency issuers such as Council of Europe Development Bank, BNG Bank, KfW Bankengruppe, International Finance Corporation, Rentenbank and World Bank in connection with their A$ debt issuance programmes;
  • acting for corporate clients such as Air New Zealand, Contact Energy, Iberdrola and Volkswagen in connection with their A$ debt issuance programmes; and
  • acting on green, social and sustainable bond issuances including African Development Bank’s Social Bonds, Asian Development Bank’s Social Bonds, European Investment Bank’s Climate Awareness Bonds, IDB Invest’s inaugural Social Notes, Industrial Bank of Korea’s Social Debt Instruments, International Finance Corporation’s Social Bonds and Transpower Limited’s Green Notes.
