Ms. Pan Yujia specializes in capital markets, M&A investment and private equity investment funds. She is one of the senior partners of the Financial and Securities Department.
As a senior partner of Financial and Securities Department of King & Wood Mallesons, Ms. Pan has gained high reputation in the areas of shares issuing and listing, refinancing business, domestic and cross-border M&A transactions of listed companies as well as domestic and overseas investment and financing business. In the past few years, Ms. Pan has completed dozens of deals with great influence in the market.
Ms. Pan has successfully led and participated in the issuance and listing of shares of many domestic state-owned enterprises and private large and medium-sized enterprises on the Main Board of Shanghai Stock Exchange, STAR Market of Shanghai Stock Exchange, Main Board (SME Board) of Shenzhen Stock Exchange and GEM Board of Shenzhen Stock Exchange in mainland China, as well as the issuance and listing of shares of domestic enterprises for overseas Hong Kong H shares, Singapore S shares, New York N shares and other shares in several countries and regions. Meanwhile, Ms. Pan has extensive experience in designing and building red-chip structure, and has advised numerous quasi-financial institutions, internet companies and automobile enterprises on their VIE structuring, as well as the building, adjustment and dismantling of red-chip structure. Ms. Pan has also led and participated in the investment and financing, domestic and overseas issuance and listing of such red-chip enterprises. Additionally, Ms. Pan and her team completed an unprecedented project of which an overseas red-chip listed company being approved of proposed RMB share issue by the listing committee for the STAR Market.
Ms. Pan has hands on experience in financing and M&A deals in relation to many sectors, including automobile industry, airport, nuclear power, pharmaceuticals, supply chain, real estate, internet, media and retailing, manufacturing, daily chemical industry. She represented renowned international companies in their investment projects in China, and domestic large and medium-sized companies in their overseas investment.

Ms. Pan Yujia joined King & Wood Mallesons in 1996.
Ms. Pan obtained her B.A. in English Language and Literature at Southwest Normal University and holds two LL.Ms; one from University of International Business and Economics and one from Washington University in St. Louis. She was admitted as a Chinese lawyer in 1998.
Ms. Pan is proficient in Chinese and English.
