Mr. Feng Dong specializes in cross-border commercial arbitration and litigation, and has experience in the areas of joint venture, equity investment, general corporate, infrastructure (BOT/PPP), international trade, as well as securities and finance. Mr. Feng provides comprehensive solutions to clients by adopting an integrated approach consisting of dispute resolution, commercial transactions and negotiation.

Mr. Feng has successfully represented and assisted clients in numerous complex cross-border arbitration and litigation cases. Mr. Feng represented arbitration cases before the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), the Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC), Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC), the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), the International Chamber of Commerce Court of Arbitration (ICC), the American Arbitration Association (AAA), the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC), and other major arbitration institutions, as well as litigation cases before the courts of Singapore, Thailand and other countries.

Mr. Feng has also represented clients in a large number of commercial litigation cases before the domestic courts at various levels in the People’s Republic of China (“PRC”). In particular Mr. Feng has handled corporate disputes arising from equity ownership, corporate resolution, corporate dissolution and liquidation, and other litigation cases relating to financing lease, product liability, and other aspects. Mr. Feng is also experienced in litigation cases involving setting aside of arbitration awards, and recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards in the PRC.

Mr. Feng has extensive practical experience in and has advised on a full spectrum of legal issues arising from infrastructure projects, including land use right transfer, bidding and tendering, land cooperative development, project financing, contractual obligations in BOT agreements, the nature of BOT agreements, project operation and management, project construction, change of laws and regulations, as well as contract termination and compensation.

In 2021, Mr. Feng was ranked as a “recommended lawyer” in the area of arbitration in the PRC by Legal 500.

Mr. Feng joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2014.

Mr. Feng is admitted to practice law in the PRC. Mr. Feng obtained his LLM from Tsinghua University.
