KWM works on significant refinancing for Australian network solution provider

King & Wood Mallesons has advised the lead arrangers on the refinancing and extension of existing debt facilities for Vocus Group Limited, Australia's specialist fibre and network solutions provider.

The new syndicated debt facility is comprised of AU$1,255 million and NZD$135 million and is one of the largest Australian syndicated facilities to refinance since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The KWM team advising on the transaction was led by finance partners Will Stawell and Yuen-Yee Cho and with support from senior associate Aidan Drinkwater, solicitor Sally Blake and graduate lawyer Adam Silverwood. Tax expertise on the transaction was provide by Scott Heezen and Joanne Langford.
