King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has won two awards at this year's Asia Legal Awards, which was held virtually on 5 May.
KWM received the award for Asian Technology and Innovation Initiative of the Year, for its work supporting NAB on the innovative #LGCrowd project to optimise the legal function, arising out of the challenges imposed by COVID-19 and the shift to remote working. The KWM Client Relationship and Innovation teams worked together with the NAB Governance & Legal team, advising on various human centred design techniques to develop and test innovative technologies and workflows. The KWM and NAB teams were thrilled with the award, demonstrating the close strategic partnership.
KWM was also recognised as Dispute Resolution Firm of the Year, reflecting the firm's unique global platform and focus on cross-border matters in the Asia region.
