KWM achieves unmatched industry recognition in Chambers Asia Pacific 2024 Rankings

King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) is proud to uphold its top-tier status in the 2024 Chambers and Partners Guide for the seventh consecutive year. KWM achieved the highest number of Band 1 practice areas and ranked individuals of any firm, as well as maintaining and adding band 1 practice rankings.

Ranking highlights across Australia, Singapore and Asia Pacific

  • In Australia, KWM led the market with 22 Band 1 leading practice group rankings and 26 individual Band 1 rankings at an individual level.
  • 117 individual rankings were also achieved in the Guide marking the highest number across all firms.
  • Eight KWM lawyers improved their rankings this year and four individuals were newly recognised.
  • In Singapore, KWM maintained all Asia-based rankings. Five lawyers have also been recognised in the Asia Guide, and four partners have been recognised in the Global Guide.
  • Across Asia Pacific - in the Asia Guide - KWM achieved Band 2 rankings in Life Sciences and International Funds: Hedge Funds.
  • In the Global Guide, KWM secured two new Band 2 rankings including Climate Change and Data Protection, four Band 1 ranking across Banking & Finance, Capital Markets: Equity, Capital Markets: High-Yield Products, and Energy & Natural Resources, and a Band 2 in Aviation: Finance.
  • The firm also secured a new Band 1 ranking in the Global Guide: Australia in International & Cross-Border Capabilities. 
  • For the 4th consecutive year, KWM has also maintained its Band 1 ranking in FinTech across Australia, Hong Kong and China.

These rankings highlight the depth of exceptional talent and expertise within KWM across Australia, Singapore, and the Asia Pacific. Significantly, the results also demonstrate continued strength in the firm’s core practice group offering, as well as increased recognition of capability in its growth areas.
