Will Heath is a corporate lawyer focusing on M&A, capital raisings and corporate advisory work.
Will regularly advises global organisations and leading ASX-listed companies on complex transactions including public M&A, demergers and joint ventures. His work has been recognised in various directories including IFLR1000 , Acritas , Best Lawyers and Doyle's .
Will works with clients in a wide range of sectors including infrastructure, resources, technology and financial services. He has substantial cross-border M&A experience. Will lived and worked in Tokyo for four years advising on outbound Japanese, Chinese and multinational M&A, and has since continued to work with Fortune 500 and other global companies on transactions in the Asian region and beyond.
Will also advises companies and their Boards on governance issues including directors' duties, ESG issues, AGMs and activism, and continuous disclosure. He has been a Senior Fellow at the Melbourne Law School, where he taught corporate law, and he continues to teach a corporate governance program through the Monash Law Faculty. Will holds two postgraduate law degrees from the University of Oxford, where he was a Menzies Memorial Scholar in Law.
