Areas of practice

Mr Zheng Hui focuses on international M&A and finance transactions. With a wide range of experience in law in both Asia and Europe, he has worked as an English lawyer in London for the past ten years.

Work experience

Prior to joining King & Wood Mallesons in 2017, Mr Zheng had worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Allen & Overy LLP. 

He received his LLB from Nanjing University and MJur from University of Oxford. Mr Zheng is qualified in England & Wales, Ireland and the PRC. He is also a visiting lecturer at the School of Law, Queen Mary University of London and University of Bologna.

He has contributed chapters in numerous legal books, such as Chinese Outbound Investment in Germany (published by Mohr Siebeck), Joint Ventures and Shareholder Agreements (published by Bloomsbury Professional), Chinese Civil Law (published by Hart Publishing & Druckerei C.H Beck) and Chinese Business Law (published by Hart Publishing & Druckerei C.H Beck). His article on International comparative research of cross-border listed company takeover rules (covering US, UK, HK, Germany, France, Russia, India and Brazil) was published on Securities Law Review by Shanghai Stock Exchange & China Law Press. 

His working languages are English and Chinese.
