Mr. Xue specializes in foreign direct investment, mergers and acquisitions, and the transfer and disposal of relevant interests.
He has extensive experience in representing major international and local clients in investment projects in China and has advised clients from a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, securities, banking, infrastructure, high-tech, and the IT industry. Mr. Xue's legal services include project structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, provision of legal advice on related issues, such as industry policies, administrative approval procedures, taxation, foreign exchange controls, import and export measures, intellectual property protection, land use rights, labor issues, and coordination with relevant government agencies.
Mr. Xue joined King & Wood Mallesons in 2005. Prior to joining the Firm, he was an associate at Linklaters' Hong Kong and Shanghai offices, he also worked as a legal council at China National Instruments Import & Export Corporation.
He received his B.Sc. from the law school of the International Business & Economics University and his LL.M. at the Law School of Columbia. Mr. Xue is proficient in Chinese and English.
